Our little church by the lake has been generously blessed not only by monetary offerings but by the dedicated and ambitious congregation, allowing us to continue our forefathers dreams and desires. Below are the different funds and projects of the WCC.
Food Pantry Shelf...our contributions go to the Orleans Federated Church Pantry Shelf, an ongoing project year long
Heifer project...available for individuals or as a group effort.
Memorial gifts have helped furnish our church with family & friends giving gifts and/or money in memory of loved ones. One such gift was our beautiful stained glass window gracing the front of the sanctuary, depicting Christ blessing the children.
Neighbor Helping Neighbor Fund
NHN is a program to help Westmore residents in need with expenses related to fuel, food and medical expenses. All expenditures are kept confidential. If anyone is aware of a needy person or family, please contact us.
Youth Camp Fund
This fund was created in 1984 to support a church member serving a greater need worldwide, through a volunteer program. A Matching Fund grant with available funds.
WCC Educational Scholarship Fund
This fund was established for a student to receive $500 per year.
Gifts to this fund are always needed and welcomed.
Organ Maintenance Fund- to help the church maintain the 1955 Hammond Organ
WCC Hyde Park Maintenance Fund
Our beautiful park on the lake continues to need care...mowing, plants and upkeep.
Ministers Reserve Fund– developed to help the church secure a permanent Minister.
Members & friends may gift to the Westmore Church when preparing their will.
It is hoped that any such gifts would be held in Trust with only the interest to be used so that gifts go on giving. One example is our beautiful Emerson Room that was built with money given to the Church from Dorothy and Flora Emerson.
If any of the above funds interest you, please contact us.
